Luisa Esteban

With seven years of experience in communications, Luisa brings a diverse background in corporate government, agency and non-profit organizations with specializations in strategic planning, content development, social media and project management. With previous roles in healthcare, arts and culture, news and politics, Luisa can adapt to any environment and enjoys using visual communications and design to enhance storytelling for different audiences.

After living over 20 years in Yellowknife, NT, Luisa moved to Vancouver and brings an understanding of working with rural communities, Indigenous populations and with limited resources. Having experience within various areas of the Government of the Northwest Territories – Department of Justice, Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories, Elections NWT, and most recently, the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services authority – she has held large roles in administering territorial general elections, opening healthcare facilities and developing crisis and issue response while navigating wildfire evacuations.

Luisa has a Master's Degree in Arts Leadership from Queen's University and a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology with a minor in Art History and Visual Studies from the University of Victoria. When not in the office, Luisa is often painting, spending time outdoors, catching up on sports and the news and checking out different restaurants and cafés in the Vancouver area.
