Communications Support to First Nations Governments.
Coast Communications is here to support Indigenous governments, business and organizations.
As a trained cultural anthropologist, Tamara’s research and work focused on contemporary Indigenous policy issues. During her graduate research she lived on Sto:lo Nation lands; for four years she represented municipalities at three treaty tables. As communications director for the ministry responsible for treaties, Tamara led announcements for all treaties, economic development and interim measure projects. She has also supported the Tsawwassen First Nation’s and Lax Kw'alaam's Band's and First Nations Health Authority's communications needs.
Tanya Corbet is an experienced communicator, community leader and business advisor with over two years experience leading and advising governments and organizations. She is a member and former Councillor of the Tsawwassen First Nation, former federal Conservative candidate for Delta, and has served on almost a dozen governance boards. She provides strategic advice and support to Coast Communications' clients from both a communications and Indigenous perspective.
Are you an Indigenous Government or business that needs to communicate with your members, customers, employees or the public? We can help, including training your team to lead your own communications.
