Carolyn Jack is a seasoned corporate communications and public affairs consultant who specializes in issue-driven communications and advocacy. Carolyn has worked with not-for-profits and all levels of government, providing strategic advice and execution on a wide range of issues. Most recently, she has worked with the City of Vancouver on its COVID-19 response and the Canadian Human Rights Commission on its new pay equity program rollout and other issues. She began her public affairs consultancy after nearly 20 years as a senior journalist with CBC News and other major broadcasters.
Carolyn is born and raised in Vancouver and is a graduate of UBC and Oxford University. Her volunteer life has included many years advocating to get more women in our legislatures as the former elected Chair of Equal Voice BC, a role she held for 7 years, and a former Director of the West Van Memorial Library. In her spare time, you can usually find her in, on or near the ocean.
