Integrated Stakeholder Engagement Plans Mean Success for our Clients

February 28th 2020

As a fully integrated communications and public affairs team, a key part of Coast Communications’ work is providing full-service stakeholder engagement plans for our clients. But stakeholder engagement is more than getting a group’s input on a natural resource project in one-off meetings then moving on. It’s also about helping organizations deepen their relationships and build partnerships in the communities they operate in. This is the approach we use for all of our clients. We lead stakeholder engagement plans for secondary and post-secondary education, First Nations, management consulting teams, energy utilities and more.

But to help clients understand stakeholders, we have to understand them first. In my new role as Client Results Specialist, Stakeholder Engagement and Public Affairs, I am able to utilize my interest in, understanding of and relationships with a broad range of stakeholders across sectors for the benefit of clients – examining who to engage with and using a data-driven approach for implementation. Mapping stakeholders on their influence, impact and likelihood of support, amongst others, means we can develop a plan to identify how best to engage with each group. My title says it best - I want to provide you with the best results! With a vast array of clients and their needs, every day at Coast is different, bringing new and exciting problems to solve as we help clients achieve success.
